Microsoft TechDays 2010 just started here in Portugal and one of the main keynote speakers was Charlie Kindel, Microsoft Program Manager for Windows 7 Phone.
We’ve just talked a little bit about the new phone, what’s in for users and developers, some main features and what does this new platform mean for Microsoft. Also, he showed us the new prototype from LG with a full qwerty keyboard running Windows Phone 7 fluidly. At the end of the interview you’ll see the main features of this new phone (which is in fact built by HTC).
So, without further delay, here’s the interview and phone demos:

Jeez, this guy is just nodding and saying UM way too much. It’s like he has no idea what he’s saying. oh yeah and wndows phone 7 looks awesome.
IPad/iPhone ready video pls?
The last phone shown is actually made by Garmin Asus not HTC as stated in the conferences.
Just thought I’d correct the mistake for the viewers.
Well! I had used the prototype windows 7 phone one month ago. I have noticed that they use the paradigm for making larger desktop than screen….
That’s not really multi-tasking. Iphone does that. You can turn on iPod and go to any other app.
For me multi-tasking is be able to read an email, then browsing, and then getting back to the previous email. Don’t you agree?
